Kit Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Kit Engineer to join our Adapter Team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering adapter kits for awnings and steps, ensuring a perfect fit on a wide range of recreational vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Design technical solutions for awning and step adapters, aligning specifications with product management and sales.
• Manage product development projects from concept through industrialisation, collaborating with production, purchase, and sales teams.
• Implement optimisations and quality improvements on existing kits.
• Act as the technical expert for internal and external sales, communicating with customers and suppliers.
• Assess and approve supplier samples, conduct test fittings in‑house and on‑site.
• Participate in strategic projects, present concepts to clients, and represent the brand at fairs and client visits.
• Support market monitoring by tracking new RV models and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Product Design or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome.
• Strong interest in recreational vehicles and an active lifestyle.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch (very good) and English (good); basic French and German are a plus.
• Creative, analytical, proactive and able to work flexibly within a team.

Required skills

• Mechanical design and CAD‑3D drawing (SolidWorks preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
