Key Account Manager – Retail Europe

About the role

Dirafrost, part of AGRANA Fruit, is looking for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to accelerate the retail expansion of its frozen fruit solutions across Europe. You will be responsible for growing both existing and new key retail accounts, with a strong focus on private‑label business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, develop and grow existing and new key retail accounts across Europe.
• Build strong partnerships with category buyers, sourcing teams and decision‑makers at both HQ and local levels.
• Identify and win new business opportunities in European retail markets.
• Lead tenders, negotiations and contract agreements to secure profitable growth.
• Drive private‑label and customer‑specific product development projects from idea to launch.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service) to deliver customized solutions.
• Translate market trends and consumer insights into strategic growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail sales within the FMCG/food industry across Europe.
• Solid track record in managing and developing key retail accounts and private‑label business.
• Strong business‑development (“hunter”) mindset with the ability to open new doors.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in complex commercial discussions.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, resilient and results‑oriented personality with strong stakeholder‑management skills.
