Junior Software Engineer – Talent Academy

About the role

Join Projective Group Talent’s Talent Academy as a Junior Software Engineer. You will start your career with a blend of hands‑on project work and structured training, gaining experience across full‑stack, backend, Java‑based and mainframe environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain software applications in various technology stacks.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in system design, feature implementation and code reviews.
• Identify, analyse and resolve bugs, performance issues and technical challenges.
• Support testing activities, including unit and integration testing.
• Assist with deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of applications.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Master’s) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Solid foundation in programming and software development gained through studies, projects or internships.
• Motivated to learn step‑by‑step with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and curiosity about how systems work.
• Team player comfortable with feedback and collaboration.
• Clear communicator able to work in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
