Junior Software Engineer – Early Career

About the role
ILIAS Solutions is looking for an early‑career software engineer to join its team in Diegem, Belgium. You will work on a platform that supports defense organisations in managing maintenance, logistics, workforce qualifications and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Assist with frontend tasks when required.
- Participate in software migrations, upgrades and platform improvements.
- Write clean, well‑tested code and contribute to code reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and product owners to deliver reliable software.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong interest in solving complex, mission‑critical problems.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and share knowledge.
