Junior Property Accountant (Permanent, Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Property Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Groot‑Bijgaarden. You will support the Real Estate Accounting Expert and take ownership of a variety of accounting tasks related to development, construction and facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily invoices and purchase orders and ensure correct allocation and posting.
• Monitor real‑estate expenditure against budget and prepare journal entries, reconciliations and fixed‑asset register updates.
• Contribute to month‑end closing, financial statements and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with real‑estate teams, external service providers and assist with insurance claims, ESG reporting, budgeting and M&A activities.
• Support accounting process improvements, system roll‑outs and European finance projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent; recent graduate or early‑career professional.
• Excellent command of English; French or German is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Excel; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
• Understanding of Belgian or Luxembourg GAAP; basic IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in digitalisation and modern financial systems.
