Junior Manager – Audit (Brussels)

About the role

As a Junior Manager in Audit at BDO, you will lead audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting and building trusted relationships. You will work closely with senior partners and client teams to deliver assurance services that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex audit files from planning through to completion, maintaining rigorous quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing professional advice and fostering long‑term relationships.
• Prepare and discuss audit opinions, letters, and financial statements with stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Stay up‑to‑date with audit standards, regulatory changes, and emerging techniques through BDO Academy and external training.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional audit experience with demonstrated technical competence.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to client needs.
• Some people‑management experience and ambition to progress to senior leadership.
