Junior IoT Engineer – Industry 4.0 (Brussels)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IoT Engineer to support a leading chemical company in the Brussels region. You will help drive Industry 4.0 initiatives, strengthen OT engineering processes and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver digitalisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Roll out, enhance and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives across the plant.
• Discuss OT engineering needs and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for successful implementation.
• Provide solution partnership for all automation and OT‑focused tasks.
• Adopt a continuous‑improvement mindset for OT and digitalisation activities.
• Liaise with integration partners to keep automated systems up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in automation, with a focus on OT and Industry 4.0.
• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven supplier‑relationship management.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
