Junior Information Security Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Information Security Consultant to join Cingulum, a dedicated information‑ and cybersecurity partner. You will work closely with senior consultants to help clients improve their security maturity and implement robust information‑security management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior consultants in delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions.
• Analyse and document clients’ current security practices through interviews and assessments.
• Assist in developing and implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including drafting policies and procedures.
• Perform third‑party risk and security assessments to ensure vendor compliance.
• Create roadmaps with recommendations to enhance clients’ cybersecurity maturity.
• Collaborate on high‑quality reports aligned with industry standards.

Required profile

• Passion for information security and a desire to grow in the field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to handle varied projects.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 (certification a plus).
• Background in IT or cybersecurity.
• Analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
