Junior HR Officer – HR Administration & Employee Experience

About the role
NIQ, a global data and insight consultancy, is seeking a Junior HR Officer to support its growing HR function. You will act as the first point of contact for employee queries, maintain accurate HR data, and help deliver a high‑quality employee experience across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Update and review employee records in HR information systems and databases.
- Provide day‑to‑day administration for time and absence management.
- Handle pre‑boarding tasks such as contracts, right‑to‑work checks, benefits enrolment and system introductions.
- Coordinate probationary review reminders and maintain personnel files.
- Prepare and manage internal recruitment contracts, international transfers and role changes.
- Execute off‑boarding procedures, ensuring all systems, benefits portals and payroll records are updated.
- Liaise with Payroll to communicate payroll amendments via the HRIS.
- Respond to general HR queries, direct complex issues to the appropriate HR Business Partner, and ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in an operational or administrative HR role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Professional discretion and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
