Junior Dangerous Goods Technician

About the role

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) is seeking a Junior Dangerous Goods Technician to support safe handling, loading and unloading of semi‑bulk and bulk hazardous materials. You will work in a multicultural environment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport dangerous goods using warehouse tractors and forklift trucks.
• Perform inspections and verify that all operations meet work‑safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of handling activities and report any incidents.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years of related experience (or secondary education with 4 years experience).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical health and ability to handle semi‑bulk and bulk items.
• Valid Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Warehouse tractor operation.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) proficiency.
