Junior Corporate Tax Consultant – Ghent

About the role

Join Forvis Mazars in Ghent as a Junior Corporate Tax Consultant and support a portfolio of national and international clients with their tax compliance and reporting needs. You will work closely with senior consultants, gaining exposure to corporate income tax returns, provisions, and acquisition due‑diligence projects while developing your expertise in Belgian and international tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in meeting tax compliance and reporting obligations.
• Prepare corporate income tax returns and calculate income‑tax provisions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation.
• Maintain direct client contact and manage assigned client files.
• Draft tax opinions across various tax domains.
• Support due‑diligence work related to corporate acquisitions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, (Applied) Economics, or a postgraduate qualification in Tax.
• Fluent in Dutch (or French) and English, both written and spoken.
• Client‑focused, hands‑on attitude with strong communication skills.
• Highly motivated, pragmatic problem‑solver.
• Eager to learn and work effectively in a team.
