Junior Corporate Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Corporate Accountant to support the Senior Manager Consolidation & Corporate Accounting. You will help prepare stand‑alone and consolidated financial statements and manage the accounting for our holding and financing entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries, monthly trial balances and reconciliations for holding and financing companies.
• Compile interim and statutory annual accounts and coordinate with auditors for sign‑off.
• Prepare monthly and annual VAT returns for applicable entities.
• Process vendor payments and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain intra‑group and external borrowing schedules, reconcile cash‑pool movements and support loan interest and principal payments.
• Ensure financial records comply with group policies, identify control improvements and contribute to documentation updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Recent graduate or first professional experience in accounting, financial controlling, consolidation or reporting.
• Basic knowledge of Belgian or Luxembourg accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is an asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; basic knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana Public Cloud is a strong advantage.
