Junior Complaints & Mediation Officer (Insurance)

About the role

Qover is looking for a Junior Complaints & Mediation Officer to join its growing mediation team. You will work at the intersection of customers, internal teams, risk carriers and local authorities, ensuring that insurance complaints are handled fairly, empathetically and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and manage insurance complaints from start to finish, maintaining neutrality and empathy.
• Liaise with internal departments, risk carriers and authorities to achieve timely, compliant resolutions.
• Identify recurring issues across insurance programs and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Share insights on mediation best practices and help refine the team’s approach.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop frameworks that standardise and streamline complaint handling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in the insurance industry; a legal background is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to spot patterns and flag critical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and human tone.
• Curiosity, collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership.
• Good prioritisation and organisational skills.
