Junior Auditor

About the role

Mazars is seeking a motivated Junior Auditor to join its audit teams in Belgium. You will work under the guidance of senior auditors, contributing to audit engagements for clients across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures under supervision of senior auditors.
• Collect and analyse financial data and related information.
• Prepare clear audit work papers and reports.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Identify internal‑control weaknesses and suggest improvements.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and team members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with auditing standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Commercial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Law, Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• Preferably some experience in an audit, accounting or financial environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and able to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent in Dutch with solid knowledge of English and/or French.
