Junior Accountant – Brussels

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Brussels. This position is ideal for a finance professional with 1–2 years of experience who wants to develop skills in a multinational hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily journal entries, invoices and bookkeeping tasks.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Monitor bank transactions and assist with treasury‑related duties.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare reconciliations and related supporting documentation.
• Handle VAT administration and statutory filings under Belgian regulations.
• Maintain communication with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders on finance matters.
• Assist audit teams by providing required documentation and support.
• Coordinate with external accounting service providers to ensure accurate transactional accounting.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of accounting procedures and SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a hands‑on mindset.
