Jr. IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to act as the bridge between our service desk and employees across multiple Belgian offices. You will provide first‑line technical assistance, ensure workstations are ready for use, and support the onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and other IT equipment.
• Assist with employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including account setup and access rights.
• Manage invoices received by the service desk.
• Escalate complex problems to the appropriate specialist teams.
• Travel to offices in Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Louvain‑la‑Neuve, and Tournai as needed.

Required profile

• Basic IT background; professional experience is a plus.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and clear communication with technical and non‑technical users.
• Organised, rigorous and comfortable working in Dutch, French and English.
• Flexibility to travel between offices.
