IT Support Technician – Level 1 & 2 On‑site Support

About the role

Everience is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide on‑site Level 1 and Level 2 assistance for its plant users. You will install, repair, and maintain IT equipment, manage cabling infrastructure, and act as the first line of defense for hardware and network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Connect devices to switches, routers and perform copper and fiber patching according to engineering specifications.
• Install and stage new PCs, laptops and printers, including rack and desk deployments.
• Detect, diagnose and resolve device or cabling malfunctions; perform basic testing and fault detection.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of ports, patch panels and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Monitor on‑site conditions (cable stock, rack space, temperature, water leaks) and report potential risks.
• Provide hands‑on support for user workstations, escalations from the Service Desk, and hardware field replacements.
• Log all tickets and communications in ServiceNow and collaborate with vendors to meet resolution timelines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with on‑site IT hardware installation and cabling.
• Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for networking and hardware issues.
• Good communication to interact with users, vendors and internal teams.
