IT Support Technician

About the role

Everience is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide on‑site Level 1 and Level 2 support for its plant users. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining IT equipment, cabling, and related services while ensuring documentation and proactive monitoring are kept up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Connect devices to switches, routers, and other data communication equipment, performing copper and fiber cabling as specified.
• Install new PCs, laptops, printers and complete cabling for all installed devices.
• Detect, diagnose and resolve device or cabling malfunctions; perform basic fault detection tests.
• Stage new PCs and laptops with correct user profiles, update the CMDB, and log all changes.
• Maintain documentation of ports, patching, and backbone modifications on a shared drive.
• Monitor on‑site conditions and alert on potential issues such as cable shortages, rack space, temperature or water leaks.
• Provide on‑site user workstation support, troubleshoot networking, security and production issues, and coordinate with vendors.
• Log all support requests and communications in ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Willingness to work regularly on‑site.
• Ability to provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
• Attention to detail for documentation and proactive monitoring.
