IT Support Specialist – European Institution

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first‑ and second‑line technical assistance for a European public institution. The role combines remote troubleshooting with on‑site support in Brussels, ensuring a reliable IT environment for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second‑line support remotely and on‑site.
• Record, track, and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Reconfigure and install PCs, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
• Document operational procedures and create knowledge‑base articles.
• Test and administer applications.
• Coordinate with system and database administrators to execute administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional IT support experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Hands‑on experience supporting desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and videoconferencing equipment.
• Ability to work 100 % onsite in Brussels.
• ITIL V4 Foundation certification is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Competence in supporting videoconferencing platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL V4 processes.
