IT Support Engineer – Infrastructure & Application Management

About the role

AVASO Technology is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its Brussels office. You will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and support both infrastructure and applications for end‑users, ensuring reliable IT services for the company’s R&D engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain and upgrade Windows and Linux server platforms.
• Plan and architect infrastructure capacity and implementation for new applications.
• Manage license servers (FlexLM or similar), handle updates, troubleshoot issues and coordinate renewals with suppliers.
• Administer ALM tools such as PTC Windchill and Codebeamer, including upgrades, migrations and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Support containerised workloads on platforms like AWS ECS.
• Provide end‑user computing (EUC) support for customized R&D applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for project delivery and be available for off‑hours upgrades when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in IT support, infrastructure and application management.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
