IT Service Desk Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Technician to be the primary point of contact for employees’ technology needs. You will provide day‑to‑day support for laptops, mobile devices, meeting‑room equipment and other workplace tools, ensuring a smooth digital experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main IT contact, delivering practical technical assistance and user‑focused support.
• Troubleshoot issues on‑site, including face‑to‑face assistance when required.
• Manage incidents and service requests, prioritising and resolving them in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to internal knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external service providers to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Guide users in adopting IT solutions, offering informal coaching and clear communication.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities and introduce automation where feasible.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3‑4 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk or End‑User Support.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch; proficiency in French and English is a plus.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
• Curious, adaptable and eager to broaden understanding of IT service operations.
