IT Security Manager – Lead Security Initiatives

About the role

Fincons Group is seeking an experienced IT Security Manager to coordinate high‑level information security initiatives across its multinational operations. The role acts as a technical bridge between internal stakeholders and external contractors, ensuring that all projects comply with established security policies and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex security requirements into actionable technical specifications for contractors.
• Oversee the quality, compliance, and delivery of contractor outputs, especially firewall and identity‑management solutions.
• Conduct and supervise security assessments, penetration tests, and audits (ISO 2700x, CobIT).
• Analyze audit findings, manage risk remediation, and ensure adherence to GDPR and other data‑privacy regulations.
• Provide strategic guidance on business continuity, disaster recovery, and overall security governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security assessment, penetration testing, and secure coding standards (OWASP Top 10).
• Deep knowledge of risk‑management frameworks such as ISO 2700x and CobIT.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewall rule sets, and WAN connections.
• Extensive background in IT audit lifecycle management, preferably in highly regulated sectors (finance/banking).
• Demonstrated ability to lead security teams, manage specialized contractors, and enforce SLAs.
