Inventory & Supply Planner

About the role

Donaldson is a technology and innovation leader focused on solving complex filtration challenges. The Inventory & Supply Planner coordinates and expedites the flow of finished goods between suppliers and the EMEA Distribution Center, ensuring the right items and quantities reach customers in line with inventory control procedures and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Balance stock levels to achieve target fill rates while minimizing obsolete, excess and aging parts.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage daily material replenishment via ERP/MRP systems.
• Engage daily with internal and external suppliers on open orders, shipping schedules and delivery commitments to prevent stock‑outs.
• Identify potential part shortages, expedite critical shipments and coordinate alternative delivery solutions such as air freight.
• Partner with warehouse operations, transportation, demand planning, customer service, sales, procurement, finance and product management to align parts availability.
• Track KPIs like inventory levels, stock availability, Days Inventory Outstanding and backorders to support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain planning.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Data‑driven analytical mindset, process orientation and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English.
