International Tax Supervisor

About the role

UPS is seeking an International Tax Supervisor to join its tax department, supporting tax managers on corporate taxation matters for UPS entities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role offers the chance to work on a variety of tax topics, including indirect taxes and transfer‑pricing projects, within a global logistics leader.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee or support tax compliance processes in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Review corporate tax returns, transfer pricing documentation, CbCR and other statutory submissions prepared by local teams or external advisors.
• Interact with tax authorities regarding rulings, audits and settlements.
• Assist Tax Managers on projects and special requests.
• Monitor international tax developments such as BEPS, ATAD, Pillar Two and OECD initiatives and assess their impact on the group.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Treasury, HR and other functions to provide proactive tax support.
• Maximize opportunities while minimizing tax risks and surprises.

Required profile

• Fluent English (verbal and written); additional EMEA languages are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leading local practice, Big Four firm, or large international corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and pragmatic thinking skills.
• Experience with transfer pricing, permanent establishment, withholding taxes, tax treaties, and other international tax matters.
• Confidence in handling tax issues across different countries.
• Reports to the International Tax Manager.
• Limited ad‑hoc travel.
