International Arbitration Lawyer

About the role

The International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution team at Liedekerke is seeking a motivated lawyer to join its 12‑member practice in Brussels. You will work on high‑profile cross‑border arbitrations and related court proceedings, supporting clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in institutional and ad‑hoc international arbitrations.
• Handle enforcement and setting‑aside of arbitral awards and foreign judgments in Belgium and abroad.
• Advise on disputes arising from engineering & construction, commercial contracts, M&A and international law.
• Collaborate with senior partners on complex multi‑jurisdictional cases.

Required profile

• Outstanding command of English and native‑level proficiency in French; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent academic record from a Belgian university; an LL.M. from an English‑speaking jurisdiction is highly valued.
• 1–3 years of experience in dispute resolution with a strong interest in international arbitration.
• Willingness to work on large international construction arbitrations.
