Internal Auditor

About the role

Deceuninck is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its internal audit team. The role offers exposure to a global manufacturing environment, covering entities across Europe, the Americas, Turkey and Australia. You will work closely with the Internal Audit Manager and the Audit Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document audit assignments for Deceuninck entities following the established audit methodology.
• Evaluate process designs, internal controls and risk mitigation through interviews, documentation review and data analysis.
• Test the effectiveness of controls and provide assurance on balance‑sheet and P&L statements.
• Prepare formal audit reports with findings, recommendations and follow‑up on implementation.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects aimed at improving policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business.
• Minimum three years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm.
• Willingness to travel internationally (10‑15% of time).
• Strong interest in processes, internal controls and risk management.
• Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of audit assignments.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; Spanish is a plus.
