Inspector – Conduct of Business Rules Auditor

About the role

The Central Inspection Team is looking for a dedicated Inspector to audit the conduct of business rules for financial institutions. You will contribute to a public‑interest mission, ensuring that firms act honestly, fairly and professionally towards their clients.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out remote and on‑site inspections of supervised entities.
• Analyse documents, websites and applications for compliance with MiFID, IDD and other conduct rules.
• Listen to and evaluate arguments presented by institutions under supervision.
• Prepare clear, structured reports and communicate findings to senior staff.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Business Management.
• At least 3 years of experience as an auditor in an audit firm or in a corporate compliance department.
• Strong interest in financial markets, products and emerging developments.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and written communication skills.
• Fluent in French and Dutch, with good command of English.
