Inspector – Conduct of Business Rules Auditor

About the role

The Central Inspection Team is looking for an Inspector to audit Conduct of Business Rules such as MiFID and IDD. You will contribute to the supervision of financial institutions, ensuring they act honestly, fairly and professionally toward their clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑site and remote inspections of supervised entities.
• Analyse documents, websites and applications for compliance with conduct of business regulations.
• Engage with institutions, listen to their arguments and assess their adherence to the rules.
• Maintain high quality standards in a dynamic, fast‑moving department.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Business Management.
• At least 3 years of experience as an auditor in an audit firm or in a corporate compliance department.
• Strong interest in financial markets and related products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, teamwork and initiative.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Clear and structured communication in French, Dutch and good English.
