Inspector – Conduct of Business Rules Auditor

About the role

The Central Inspection Team of the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) is looking for a dedicated Inspector to support the supervision of conduct of business rules such as MiFID and IDD. You will contribute to protecting consumers and strengthening trust in the financial system.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site and remote inspections of supervised entities.
• Analyse documents, websites and applications for compliance with conduct of business rules.
• Engage with institutions, listen to their arguments and assess their practices.
• Collaborate with a dynamic department where quality and ethical standards are paramount.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Business Management.
• At least 3 years of experience as an auditor in an audit firm or in a corporate compliance department.
• Strong interest in financial markets, products and emerging developments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, teamwork and initiative.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly in French, Dutch and English.
