Inmanta Architect – Brussels, Belgium

About the role

We are looking for an Inmanta Architect to join our consulting team in Brussels. The role focuses on designing and delivering automated orchestration solutions for telecom and cloud environments, helping clients transition to intent‑based operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop configuration models using the Inmanta DSL to represent complex infrastructure and network services.
• Build, test, and deploy end‑to‑end automation workflows and service pipelines for NFV/SDN and cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain Inmanta modules, integrating with OSS/BSS, CRM systems and network elements via REST, NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, etc.
• Integrate Inmanta service models into Git‑based CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) to ensure continuous testing and safe deployment.
• Manage the full lifecycle of orchestrated services, including monitoring, auto‑healing and dynamic scaling.
• Collaborate with network engineers, cloud architects and DevOps teams to translate manual processes into automated, intent‑based code.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with the Inmanta Service Orchestrator and custom module development.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code, intent‑based configuration management and state enforcement.
• Solid knowledge of SDN, NFV, cloud‑native networking and related protocols (NETCONF, YANG, SNMP, REST).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data‑serialization formats such as YAML and JSON.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and map complex service dependency graphs.
