Injection Molding Technician / Operator

About the role

We are looking for a technically skilled Injection Molding Technician / Operator to join a leading Belgian manufacturing company that supplies high‑precision metal and plastic components to the automotive, construction and industrial sectors. You will ensure that the injection molding production line runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, change, start and monitor injection molding machines.
• Perform quality checks at production start‑up according to specifications.
• Prevent defects and guarantee that products meet quality standards.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on molds.
• Suggest improvements related to safety, quality, environment and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workplace.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (TSO – Mechanics, Plastics or similar).
• Experience in a plastic processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding and molds.
• Hands‑on attitude and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English.

Required skills

• Operation of injection molding machines.
• Conducting quality checks on plastic parts.
• Preventive maintenance of molds.
• Understanding of plastic injection molding processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
