Information Security Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Information Security Officer to join a leading international IT advisory firm. You will help clients strengthen their security governance, compliance frameworks, and cyber‑risk management through high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and guide clients toward robust information security frameworks.
• Translate security and compliance requirements into actionable measures.
• Coordinate cyber‑risk assessments and security evaluations.
• Define and maintain risk‑management processes and methodologies.
• Lead security plans, awareness campaigns, and training initiatives.
• Support stakeholders in implementing cybersecurity controls and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or advisory environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001:2022, NIS2, GDPR, COBIT, NIST, OWASP, and CIS Controls.
• Experience with audits, risk assessments, and security governance projects.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 27701) are a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with professional proficiency in English.
