Information Security Officer (ISO27001 & NIS2)

About the role

We are looking for an Information Security Officer to guide our clients through cyber threats and build robust security programs aligned with ISO 27001, NIS2 and GDPR. You will turn compliance into a competitive advantage while fast‑tracking your cybersecurity career through diverse, international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on information security, cyber risk and compliance strategies.
• Perform cyber risk assessments and translate security requirements into practical controls.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR and related frameworks.
• Lead security awareness, policy enhancement and governance initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality cybersecurity projects.
• Monitor security risks, prepare reports and act as a trusted advisor on best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security or IT advisory/consulting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR and cybersecurity governance frameworks.
• Analytical, proactive and solution‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead client engagements independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 27701) are a plus.
