HV Designer / High Voltage Drafter

About the role

Arcadis is seeking an experienced HV Designer / High Voltage Drafter to support a consultancy assignment in Wallonia. You will be responsible for converting engineering outputs into accurate as‑built drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Update and manage as‑built HV plans after project completion, incorporating redlines and technician feedback.
• Perform quality control on HV drawings, improving them to meet required standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee consistency and accuracy of documentation.
• Participate in post‑study handover meetings and adhere to project schedules.
• Apply HV drawing methodology and coordinate updates with other disciplines.
• Archive and administratively manage plans and associated metadata.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a designer or drafter, preferably in high‑voltage environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Wallonia and at client high‑voltage substations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with MicroStation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
• Familiarity with ProjectWise (asset).
