HR Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an HR Specialist to join a fast‑growing global business operating fully remotely from Belgium. In this role you will own the employee experience across the entire lifecycle, ensuring HR operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, off‑boarding, exit interviews and maintain employment documentation.
• Administer and keep the HRIS up‑to‑date, managing records, workflows, permissions and organizational data.
• Support managers with documentation, policy interpretation and day‑to‑day HR guidance.
• Monitor HR processes, identify improvement opportunities and enhance system performance.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics.
• Develop executive‑ready presentations summarising key HR metrics and trends.
• Maintain personnel files, ensure compliance for audits and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster a positive, compliant, employee‑centered culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of progressive HR experience, including operations and employee‑lifecycle management.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.

Required skills

• Experience administering HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
