HR Specialist – Employee Lifecycle & Operations

About the role

The HR Specialist provides comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle, serving as the first point of contact for employees and managers on routine HR matters. Working closely with local leadership, global HR teams, and external partners, the role ensures efficient HR processes, policy compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for day‑to‑day HR queries, guiding employees and managers on policies, procedures, and programs.
• Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and documentation in line with legal and company requirements.
• Coordinate recruitment activities from candidate attraction through offer preparation and onboarding.
• Lead onboarding for new hires, preparing welcome packages, orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of mandatory training.
• Support performance management cycles, monitor review timelines, and assist with talent review and succession planning.
• Coordinate the annual training plan, track participation, and organize internal and external learning sessions.
• Collaborate with Belgium and global HR teams, as well as external partners, to continuously improve HR service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience providing HR support across the employee lifecycle.
• Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
