HR Officer - Learning & Development

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Officer specializing in Learning & Development to join our international team in Brussels. In this high‑impact position you will own key HR processes, support career development initiatives and help shape a culture of continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, organise and deliver internal training sessions and maintain the training catalogue.
• Identify development needs, manage relationships with external training providers and ensure training records are up‑to‑date.
• Maintain accurate HR data, including performance data, job files and organisational charts.
• Drive the performance‑management cycle, from objective setting to reviews, ensuring timely completion.
• Act as a key user of HR tools, providing support and promoting adoption across the organisation.
• Update job descriptions, job grading and support career‑development programmes.
• Assist with additional HR activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, training, education or a related field.
• Fluent in English with good command of French and Dutch.
• First experience in HR, Learning & Development or a similar junior role.
• Dynamic, proactive and able to influence stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Curious, hands‑on attitude with willingness to own HR systems and tools.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction at all organisational levels.
