Hotel Receptionist

About the role

Thon Hotels is seeking a friendly and proactive Hotel Receptionist to join its front‑desk team in the European quarter of Brussels. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every stay starts and ends with a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, and handle reservations.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and process invoices efficiently.
• Monitor guest satisfaction trends and suggest improvements to enhance service quality.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and well‑stocked.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to resolve guest requests promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar front‑desk or hospitality role (nice to have but not mandatory).
• Strong customer‑orientation with a passion for making people happy.
• Excellent communication skills in English, French and Dutch.
• Flexible attitude toward varying shift lengths and schedules.
• Attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset.
