Hotel Director

About the role

The Hotel Director leads all Hotel Operations aboard a cruise vessel, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while meeting company targets and KPIs. This senior position oversees multiple departments and drives performance across the entire hospitality portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Finance, Entertainment, IT & Data Systems, Cruise Sales and other revenue‑generating areas.
• Accountable for achieving company‑wide targets and key performance indicators.
• Develop and execute strategic plans, resource allocation, and workforce planning for all Hotel Operations departments.
• Maintain high standards of personalized service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, inspire and develop multicultural teams in a dynamic onboard environment.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience as a senior leader in a luxury (4/5*) hotel or cruise industry.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, decision‑making and interpersonal abilities.
• Global perspective with experience in culturally diverse settings.
• Knowledge of business planning, strategic execution, resource and workforce management.
• Understanding of personalized service standards and guest satisfaction evaluation.
• Familiarity with human‑resources policies and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Intermediate proficiency with computer software.
