About the role

The CHU Tivoli hospital is seeking a Clinical Hematologist to join its comprehensive Hematology service. The role involves managing the full spectrum of oncologic and non‑oncologic hematologic disorders, except acute leukemias in young patients, CAR‑T therapies, and stem‑cell transplants, which are handled through collaborations with partner institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultations, inpatient care, and day‑hospital treatments for hematologic patients.
• Supervise and train hematology assistants and junior physicians during their rotations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary oncology meetings held bi‑weekly and in dedicated hemostasis conferences.
• Collaborate with external hospitals (e.g., Jolimont, Saint‑Luc) for complex cases such as stem‑cell transplantation.
• Contribute to clinical research initiatives coordinated by the interdisciplinary research group.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Hematology; PhD preferred.
• Board‑certified or equivalent qualification in clinical hematology.
• Experience in managing both oncologic and non‑oncologic hematologic conditions.
• Ability to supervise trainees and work within a multidisciplinary team.
