Head of Digital

About the role

The Head of Digital will lead the development and execution of a fully integrated, scalable digital commerce ecosystem for a large, internationally active luxury consumer company. This senior role focuses on driving digital sales growth, aligning marketplace expansion, retail integration and direct‑to‑consumer brand activities to create sustainable long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall digital commerce strategy across all online channels, ensuring alignment with the broader business objectives.
• Lead the transformation toward an integrated, commercially driven digital ecosystem, identifying new growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
• Own performance and development of all digital sales channels, including marketplaces, retail e‑commerce platforms and brand‑owned sites.
• Set channel strategies that balance commercial results, brand positioning and long‑term development.
• Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven decision‑making and optimisation of digital sales activities.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing digital commerce team, fostering a collaborative culture and strong leadership capabilities.
• Coordinate across commercial, marketing, IT and finance functions to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives.
• Implement process improvements to support scalable growth and maintain alignment with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in digital commerce, e‑commerce or omnichannel commercial leadership roles.
• Background in branded consumer goods, luxury retail, cosmetics or fashion environments is preferred.
• Proven track record of driving digital sales growth and executing large‑scale transformation projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategic ambitions into actionable initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, capable of building and developing high‑performing teams.
