Group Sales Director – Food Service

About the role

The Group Sales Director Food Service leads growth and profitability for the Food Service channel across multiple markets. Reporting to senior management, you will shape strategy, manage the P&L, and build strong relationships with key customers while coordinating cross‑border activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Food Service channel strategy to achieve sales, market share and margin targets.
• Allocate resources, identify opportunities and risks, and ensure integration with worldwide operations.
• Lead a sales team, set targets, and provide tools and environment for successful implementation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to deliver a consistent customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Drive new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction initiatives and product development needs.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in a similar senior sales function, preferably within the food service segment.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Native language plus full professional proficiency in English; Dutch or French as a second language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.
