Group E‑Commerce Director – Lead Global B2B Transformation

About the role

The Group E‑Commerce Director will steer a major omnichannel transformation for a leading international B2B group operating in more than 25 countries. Reporting to a senior executive committee member, the role is responsible for defining and executing the end‑to‑end e‑commerce strategy, turning the platform from initial deployment to a fully integrated commercial engine.

Key responsibilities

• Reassess the current platform foundation and define a roadmap for evolution across all markets.
• Translate business ambitions into prioritized product development at group and country level.
• Elevate user experience and deploy advanced B2B capabilities such as contract pricing, approval workflows, and procurement integrations.
• Align IT, marketing, sales, and country teams around a shared agenda and manage external partners and governance.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team (product owners, UX/UI, data, operations) and drive change management centrally and locally.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in e‑commerce, digital product, or digital transformation.
• Proven ownership of a large‑scale B2B e‑commerce platform, including strategy, roadmap, feature prioritisation, delivery and performance.
• Fluent English and extensive multi‑country exposure in a matrix organisation.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑influence skills.
