GRC Consultant – Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

The client is seeking an experienced GRC Consultant to define, design and implement a comprehensive Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) framework. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple departments to capture requirements, evaluate existing tools, and drive the selection and rollout of new solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage stakeholders from all client departments to elicit GRC requirements.
• Map current GRC tools, assess their fit against client standards and regulatory mandates.
• Evaluate alternative tooling options (e.g., SAI360, ServiceNow) and propose a strategic scope.
• Develop a detailed implementation roadmap, including effort estimates, resource and licensing needs.
• Lead the execution of the roadmap, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and defined requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience defining and implementing GRC concepts and processes.
• Proven stakeholder management at senior‑management level.
• Experience delivering at least two full GRC tool selection and implementation projects.
• Hands‑on experience with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• At least 3 years experience leading projects using Agile, Waterfall, budget and resource planning.
