Global Project Manager – Public Affairs (Freelance)

About the role

Our biopharmaceutical client is looking for a highly organised Global Project Manager to support the Head of Public Affairs. Working from Brussels, you will act as the right‑hand partner, driving execution, alignment and communication across a worldwide network of regional and affiliate teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured planning cycles, translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, timelines, KPIs and milestones.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting tools and performance‑tracking mechanisms.
• Provide senior leadership with visibility on progress, risks and dependencies, and prepare briefing materials.
• Design and deliver internal communication assets such as newsletters, briefings and updates; manage SharePoint sites for knowledge sharing.
• Support budget planning, forecasting and financial tracking in liaison with Finance.
• Plan and execute internal and external events, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Contribute to policy and insights projects, producing analysis and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of project‑management experience, preferably in matrixed, international environments.
• Experience supporting complex, cross‑functional or global initiatives.
• Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical or regulated industries is an advantage.
