Global Privacy & Data Protection Leader – Med Tech

About the role

The Global Privacy & Data Protection Leader for the MedTech sector will serve as the senior‑most privacy executive, providing strategic leadership, governance and oversight of privacy and data‑protection activities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end global oversight of privacy and data‑protection for the MedTech sector, ensuring robust governance, compliance and risk management across all business units and geographies.
• Represent the privacy function to sector executives and leadership teams globally, regionally and within markets.
• Define and drive the long‑term privacy strategy, aligning it with evolving global regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and other regional frameworks.
• Mature the organization’s privacy operating model and implement scalable, business‑aligned privacy practices.
• Champion innovative and ethical uses of data to enable new patient‑engagement models, product development and scientific progress.
• Report directly to the Chief Privacy Officer and maintain strong partnerships with MedTech leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in privacy, data‑protection or related compliance functions, preferably within the healthcare or MedTech industry.
• Proven track record of influencing executive leadership and driving global privacy initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of international privacy regulations and best‑practice governance frameworks.
• Strong risk‑management and strategic planning capabilities.
