Global Head, Data Evaluation and Enablement

About the role

We are seeking a Global Head of Data Evaluation and Enablement to lead UCB’s enterprise strategy for operationalising patient‑level data. Based in Anderlecht, Brussels, this hybrid role (minimum 40 % office) will drive data quality, compliance and governance to accelerate insights across drug development and commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise strategy for patient‑level data, ensuring high quality, compliance and discoverability.
• Lead a team of four (with potential growth) focused on data evaluation, ownership and enablement.
• Oversee data‑quality initiatives, tokenisation, and governance frameworks.
• Promote adoption of real‑world data through training, communication and change‑management programmes.
• Partner with IT, Data Office, finance, purchasing and external vendors to secure data access and platform integration.
• Manage onboarding, contracting and operationalisation of secondary data sources.
• Develop data‑literacy training and stakeholder communication across the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience working with patient‑level pharmaceutical data.
• At least 5 years experience leading data‑operations teams.
• Master’s or Doctorate in a quantitative field is preferred.
