General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead Novotel Brussels Airport, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and guest satisfaction across all departments. This senior leader will shape the hotel’s strategic direction while representing the brand to owners and the Accor group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations and implement strategic plans to meet financial and brand objectives.
• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting airlines, airport authorities, and local corporations.
• Drive Food & Beverage performance throughout all business periods, including MICE events.
• Analyse P&L statements, monitor profitability, and initiate corrective actions.
• Coach and develop talent, manage labour relations, and promote employee well‑being.
• Foster community relationships and ensure compliance with Belgian legislation.
• Represent the hotel to owners, Accor leadership, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Approachable, sales‑oriented leader with strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex operations and deliver financial results.
• Experience in hospitality sales, especially with airlines and corporate clients.
• Knowledge of Belgian labour and hospitality legislation.
• Natural coach who can build high‑performing, diverse teams.
