GDP Representative

About the role

The GDP Representative ensures that Expeditors’ facilities and processes meet Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards for healthcare customers. Working within a district, you will coordinate compliance activities, manage risk, and support product integrity throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clear delegation of GDP tasks with the CR Back‑Up.
• Execute all GDP activities according to district facility type and customer requirements.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are kept to GDP standards in Expeditors‑owned or leased sites.
• Assess and document risks that could affect GDP activities or customer products.
• Support operations on recalled, returned, quarantined, rejected, or falsified products per customer instructions.
• Verify compliance with customer SOPs and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) promptly.
• Communicate shipment issues to customers in writing.
• Lead and implement global and regional GDP initiatives.
• Participate in conference calls, quarterly management reviews, departmental meetings, and annual BCP reviews.
• Engage with district account managers on GDP quality topics.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience at Expeditors or in the healthcare logistics industry.
• College or university education (field not specified).
