Functional Analyst Internship – Technology Financial Services

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Junior Functional Analyst Intern to join its Technology Financial Services practice in Brussels. The role bridges business and technology, helping banks, insurers and capital‑market clients design and implement innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Analyse existing processes, pinpoint pain points and propose optimized solutions.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for development and testing teams.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers and functional experts to ensure shared understanding and smooth delivery.
• Support testing activities by defining test scenarios, validating functionality and confirming that solutions meet expectations.
• Provide user support during implementation, including documentation, training sessions and functional assistance.
• Stay informed on financial‑services trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with expected graduation in 2027.
• Academic background in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and interest in financial‑services technology.
